I can't get...I think these are really good points. I can't get over how many people act like being stocked in a bookstore is magic. A book sitting on a store shelf isn't marketing. It's not necessarily moving the book. Because bookstores won't accept books without a returns policy a book isn't really "sold" once it's on a bookstore shelf.
